Wood winner and overall Balvenie Master of Craft 2011: Christoph Gotting, violin maker

The UK's craft sector employs an estimated 90,000 people in 11,000 small businesses. The Balvenie Masters of Craft is a new awards programme honouring the most highly skilled people in that sector. It's been created to celebrate handcrafted, heritage skills wherever they live and breathe.
